Simple Meals Badge

Step One:

I went to my family's restaurant and my Dad showed me the kitchen and what everything does. My Dad is a chef so he has taught me about safety and food rules for years.

Step Two:

I made eggs for my family. I made over medium eggs for three people and scrambled eggs for two. I also made toast and warmed some bacon. We had fruit and tomatoes from our garden to complete the meal.

Step Three:

I made paninis. On a panini you can put many different ingredients like onions, ham, turkey, cheese, and lettuce on bread. Then you put it in a panini press for 5 minutes. Then take it out. I made paninis for a bunch, and helped people choose their ingredients.

Step Four:

For dessert, I went online and started searching. I looked through some images and found one that made me say "oo, that looks good."  There was a name with it so I looked the name up with the recipe. Then I brought my mom over and showed her to see if it was a good idea and she said yes so I made easy peanut butter no-bake chocolate bars. They were easy to make and tasty. They were very rich.

Step Five:

For this, I made a hamburger salad. You get lots of salad and put pieces of hamburger in it. You can put all your favorite burger toppings on it as well. It's like a burger without a bun. I like mine with ketchup, mayo, mustard, onions, cheese, pickles, and even a few tater tots!  It's yummy and I made it all myself!
